You were wanting the clamour of the crowd to hide your silence You resented them for being loud and not talking to you You hate yourself for feeling proud - they'll never notice you now But there's a way - just listen to what I say Where do you go from here ? You've got to give it all you've got Decide what you're looking for And then give it your best shot Life for you started tough One chance was all you got And on the way the road got rough But you got through though You tell me now you've had enough You want to take it back And there's a way - just listen to what I say yeah (Stop, look and listen) Where do you go from here ? You've got to give it all you've got Decide what you're looking for And then give it your best shot No one's gonna hand it to you You have to grab it for yourself You know there's no use waiting It will happen without you There's always a chance for those that try Don't lose hope now You'll never know if you don't ask why Have a little faith And in a while you'll forget to cry Look back and smile And there's a way - just listen to what I say yeah Where do you go from here ? You've got to give it all you've got Decide what you're looking for And then give it your best shot Your best shot Where do you go from here ? You've got to give it all you've got

She's living in a self-imposed hell Hazards in the kitchen stop those hands from itchin' She's so desperate to push her way outside Back around the house it crawls A fear - the child of monsters coming back to haunt her The memories of days will turn her hands to clay As she walks and talks and dances by herself She lives and breathes and dances by herself You and I would never understand the things she has forgotten They come back to her often They come crawling out from behind the mask she wears For lately love and hate leave scars across her eyes The memories of days she can't keep locked away As she walks and talks and dances by herself She lives and breathes Don't tell her what she needs 'Cos she's walking - don't push her away Talking - about her life She ain't smiling - don't believe her Crying - don't turn your shoulder away She's practising her pride It's so ugly magnified As she walks and talks and dances by herself She lives and breathes and dances by herself

A broken family The game must end for hearts to mend You've played the same game too It's a fear we share, me and you Will i make the same mistake ? Older men I know are breaking hearts by breaking rules Will I learn my lesson ? Or will I follow in the footsteps of fools Will there be a change in me like those who've gone before ? Who sacrifice the love they have in the hope for something more And turning to a stranger's face They find themselves in a lonely place full of broken dreams and bridges they have burned Will i make the same mistake ? Older men I know are breaking hearts by breaking rules Will I learn my lesson ? Or will I follow in the footsteps of fools Follow in the footsteps of fools

Walls 02:58
Time - time has struck inside of me setting something up in my mind You - you look inside of me never knowing what you'll find Fine - I'll take my chances putting our love on the line See - so many changes Mind over matter in time Well it's been so long since I felt your love I've seen it in your eyes looking down on me Breaking up, breaking up the walls surrounding me So don't stop your eyes looking down on me Keep on being the you in me Breaking up, breaking up the walls surrounding me Time - time has struck inside of me setting something up in my mind You - you look inside of me never knowing what you'll find Well it's been so long since I felt your love I've seen it in your eyes looking down on me Breaking up, breaking up the walls surrounding me So don't stop your eyes looking down on me Keep on being the you in me Breaking up, breaking up the walls surrounding me

Downtown 03:07
Sitting in a foreign land thinking 'bout my home I'm not an unhappy man but I sometimes miss my own Thinking 'bout my life in the land that used to be So full of happiness and harmony But on the last run through town things were looking down Empty pockets all around Empty windows downtown The man on the land is losing ground They say the markets just can't be found Losing pride at double speed He's got his cattle and his children to feed And on the last run through town things were looking down Empty pockets all around Empty windows downtown I had to leave those troubled times I had to leave them far behind Living in troubled times just brings you down down down Going downtown Going down

Yesteryear 04:36
Lying in the streets that hide no shame Crying in the face of winter pain They can talk about it but the hurt's still there And the memories come rushing back from yesteryear Come rushing back from yesteryear Sunshine in the city so bright it makes you weep The bustle and the buses make it hard to get to sleep People won't talk 'cos they think it's different there But you feel the same, just your place has changed since yesteryear Come rushing back from yesteryear Yesteryear Shed a tear for yesteryear We know the ways of old We lived for true romance But the light turned gold and the people turned away Away Yesteryear Come rushing back from yesteryear Yesteryear Shed a tear for yesteryear Yesteryear Yesteryear

Never Change 04:05
If it's important to you that I be shy I won't even lift my eyes And if you need me to be gentle You'll barely know I'm there And when you call me for no reason I'll be waiting by the phone If you think it's what you want then I'll do it Just remember When you met me you said I was the one And the first time that you loved me girl You said never change Never change If you think that I should be tough I'll treat you like a slave And if you say I should be cool I can be cold And when you say I talk too much That'll be the last you hear from me If you think it's what you want then I'll do it Just remember When you met me you said I was the one And the first time that you loved me girl You said never change Never change I'm not gonna play your games If you have something to say Say it yourself Is it really me you want ? 'Cos I'm staying Just remember When you met me you said I was the one And the first time that you loved me girl You said never change Never change I won't even lift my eyes If it's important to you that I be shy Never change Never change

Solo 04:23
Nobody knows where you're going Nobody knows where you've been You've been through some times of change From the the things that you have seen Girl both of us know that times for you have been rough But you've got to keep on going This ain't know time to say "enough" You're going solo - you're throwing it all away Solo - when people just want you to stay Solo - throwing it all away Solo - you had to have your own way First born at age 17 That didn't make a family home And in the time it took to create He had left you there alone And later on further down the line Another man came for you I really think he wanted to help But you just wanted something new You're going solo - you're throwing it all away Solo - when people just want you to stay Solo - throwing it all away Solo - you had to have your own way Then a call came for help It came my way I really wanted to help But I think you have to make it come your way Solo - you're throwing it all away Solo - when people just want you to stay Solo - throwing it all away Solo - you had to have your own way You're throwing it all away

Luxury Alone 04:34
Those old photos They sure tell a tale Of a scared little girl net door She sure grew up I keep every word you send me It's just useless mail Couldn't bring you close enough Come back here to love me I wasn't meant to live this life of luxury alone Come back here to love me I wasn't meant to live this life of luxury alone So how's life in the streets of the world ? Wish I could have my way Travelling blues are testing you Don't let 'em get you down, no I've got the same old stories Just on a different day And there's no fun without you around Duty free, souvenirs Take them back - I don't need them They can't give me what I need Come back here to love me I wasn't meant to live this life of luxury alone Come back here to love me I wasn't meant to live this life of luxury alone I want you home

Feels like I've known you all my life And when you come I feel alive So much to believe with nothing said I hear your voice It's in my head I can't turn away, I will never forget Oh I just can't believe that we were strangers before we met Once in a while in a lifetime I lose control Something takes me over and moves my soul Broken dreams and memories all around I try picking up the pieces but there's no one around safe and sound Maybe it's just not worth it Maybe there's no regrets Oh I just can't believe that we were strangers before we met Strangers before we met
